Perfectly Preserved

As I look out my office window, I can see just a few yellow and orange leaves  clinging to one or two trees in the yard. The weather has been just glorious the last few weeks and I find myself lingering in the yard and actually anxious to get outdoors and do yard work. There are so many sights, smells and sounds to be enjoyed this time of year when you live out as far as I do. It is one of the things I am most thankful for. The quiet solitude that just requires a simple stroll out my back door.  This card reminds me of the bounty of blessings I enjoy every day.

I used the corn image from the Perfectly Preserved set and the Orchard Harvard DSP.

Bliss in Black and White

This set is really stunning done in black and white. Simply elegant. The components from the Bliss set are great together, but combine with other sets really well too. I used the flourish stamp from Easter Blossoms in the current Occasions mini catalog. I like it!

12 Gifts of Christmas

These are the last two gifts in my 12 gifts of Christmas series. These are quick and easy to do, but show how easily you can personalize or dress up a simple little gift to give it that special touch.

The first is a popular idea, just fill a mug with baked goods or goodies of any kind and package it up with a pretty bow and tag. I actually bought this already packaged and just added the tag and bow.

I made a bunch of these little candles for myself. I love the scented holiday candles, but when I buy the yummy smelling ones, I am hungry all the time! So I like to buy the votive candles and just burn them for a short time. I added our glass glitter to the base of the candle and they look so sparkly and festive in a little crystal holder. Just paint some glue on the candle and roll it in the glitter. Our glass glitter is so pretty. It’s made from real glass and gets a really nice antique look as it ages. Pop a couple of these candles in a cello bag with a topper for a nice little gift.

This is the Pop Up Kit for our StampFest Event. The photo shows the inside of the cards. This Kit is $15 for Camp attendees. The kit includes all of the precut pieces and embellishments to make make all of the cards as well as instructions and tips on how to make each card.
