I’ll leave this post running at the top of my blog. Leave a comment to be entered in a drawing this week as I give away several different goodies! You only have to comment one time and you will be entered in all of the drawings this week. Leave a comment about something you would like to see featured on the blog in the future. It could be a technique or fold you would like to see a tutorial for, or any other thing you may want to read about.

The first item up for grabs is another copy of the new 2010-2011 catalog that will be arriving some time next week.

Drawing #2 will be for a FREE set! Don’t miss your chance to win this popular hostess level 1 set , Of The Earth.

Drawing #3 will be for 4 of the retiring pads and a pack of matching paper

The next Drawing will be for this wonderful little set. This is a level 1 hostess set.

Today I am adding another Free Catalog to the Drawing!

Watch for additional items to be listed through the week. I will close the drawing Next Sunday at midnight and winners will be announced on Monday.

Catalog Winner!

We have a winner of the first free catalog that I will be giving away this month.  Come back tomorrow for a chance to win yours!

Katie McCullough was commenter #1 and is the lucky recipient of this catalog. I’ll deliver your catalog as soon as they arrive next week, Katie!

A set to give away and a scrumptious new color to share!

The More the Merrier!

This is a current level 3 Hostess set. I have one to give away to a lucky customer this month. If you place an order totaling $40 (before shipping and tax), your name will be entered into a drawing to win this set. Don’t forget that you also earn a copy of the new catalog FREE with a $40 purchase, as well. That makes it triple the fun to place an order before June 30th, because it’s always a treat to get a bag of new stampin’ goodies! June 30th is also the last day to order from the current catalog, so get your favorites before they are gone for good!

This was another card from stamp camp. This design layout is my new favorite. It works well for a quick and simple card, but also looks good with more detail and embellishment.  This card sports the gorgeous new Marina Mist card stock. I love it! It looks yummy with so many of our current colors.

Artistic Etchings

I edited this post to get your attention! Read on for details on how to win a FREE catalog.
This is a card we made for Stamp Camp this month, it uses a set from the new catalog called Artistic Etchings. It has some wonderful elements and I can’t wait to play with it some more.

Speaking of the new catalog, I am giving away a little blog candy today. Leave a comment on this post mentioning what you are most excited to see in the new catalog, for a chance to win a FREE COPY as soon as they arrive. I’ll close the drawing on Friday at midnight, CST and announce a winner on Saturday. There is still  time to order retiring sets and accessories and don’t forget to check out those products that are 25-50% off! Here is a list of the items that I think make great additions to your stampin’ stuff! I call these my Don’t Miss Picks and these items are not just my favorites, but things that I think are a great value and are those type of items that you will come back to again and again for years to come.

So here we go……You can view these sets by clicking on the last chance link in the sidebar. Click on last chance and then whatever sub category you would like to view. I like to load all the items for easier viewing.

Two items on the 25% off list are the Tea Party and Rich Razzleberry papers and although some of the colors in these offerings are retiring, they will still work wonderfully with colors that are not retiring. I love both of these sets and find myself coming back to them often, so go grab some while it’s on sale and before it’s all gone!

Think Happy Thoughts is a set that I am going to grab before it is gone. It is one that I know I will use again and again. The sayings in a circle format are perfect to use with the circle punches. I use my happy birthday stamp from another set, all the time and these will be a great addition to my stamp library.

Four Square and Only Ovals are two more great sets for the same reasons. A layered punched sentiment can be just the right element on a card.

Enjoy Every Moment and Certified are two great sets for scrapbooking. Both sets have elements you will go to over and over again.

Some of my personal style favorites that I hate to see leave, but will always be in my library are Bloomin Beautiful and Ever After,  both just lovely images that stand on their own and need little other embellishment on the card. Embrace Life is a great versatile floral, it has an Asian feel, but takes on the flavor of several other styles depending on what you pair it with.

Holy Triptych is just about one of the most beautiful Nativity/Christmas sets we have ever had. It’s a must have for your Christmas sets.

The Write Stuff is a great DSP pack for scrapbookers, you get all of those wonderful journaling pieces and some really versatile papers to go along with them.

If you are a Chocolate Chip fan, go scarf up a few accessories in that color. Most of our accessories will be in a select group of colors now and the new expresso color is the brown of choice.

There is so much more to love, but these are just a few of my favorite things, grab your favorites before they are gone for good!

Washcloth Cupcakes

This project has no stamping, but it is such a fun and easy way to spruce up a gift, that I had to share. One of the items that I gave my nephew and his new bride for their wedding was a cake plate with a dome. My friend, Laurie McClary had shown me an adorable cupcake made using wash cloths and packaged up in a cello bag. I got to thinking that our Perfect Settings XL Bigz Die would make quick work of these little cuties! Since I saw that first cupcake, I have seen them decorated in a lot of different ways with all kinds of fun little gifts tucked in.

I cut out the cupcake wrap and then used the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslit to cut the little heart. The DSP is from the Spring Mini Catalog. I rolled up the Wash Cloths and arranged them in the cupcake wrap, which was closed at the back using sticky tape.

I was wondering if it looked enough like a cupcake when my 18 month old grandbaby toddled up and said “mmmmm, I’n bite”. Which translated means, “Hey! That looks like a cupcake!” So, I filled up the cake plate and sealed it up in some cello wrap and tied it up with a ribbon. Fun, Fun!

Here is one of the layouts that will be available for Scrapbook night this Thursday at the community center. You can choose your own title and the eggs could be replaced with punched stars or flowers or another stamped image to suit your pictures. The cost for this layout is $8.50. This is a close up of the eggs, they are covered with micro-beads. Sparkly and pretty.

See two other available layouts here and here. I will be posting another layout this evening or in the morning. Hope you get to attend. Please RSVP if you haven’t already.
