Stamp-A-Stack Cards

Stamp-A-Stack This Thursday

These are the cards we are doing for stamp-a-stack this week at stamp camp. They are simpler designs so that we can get finished in the time allotted.   Please RSVP with your card specifics if you plan to attend. Bixby Community Center, 6-9 PM .

Inspired by nature

This card uses the Inspired by Nature stamp set, which is not currently in the catalog, but is still available for order. See all the dormant sets by clicking the link in the blog bar to the right

I used Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss.

The large flower is popped up so that it extends off the stamped layer.

crazy for cupcakes

I love this card! I used the Sale-A-Bration designer paper for the awning to get  that bakery window look. The set is Crazy for Cupcakes. I also used the new eyelet border punch and of course some glitter (dazzle effects) to make those cupcakes look good enough to eat!

The colors are Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and So Saffron.

 Branch out

The next two cards are actually one card design, but I wanted to show a couple of ways to stamp it so that you can get a masculine looking card if you like.

Chocolate Chip, Melow Moss and Regal Rose are the colors and the stamp sets are Branch Out and the Yummy Sale-A-Bration Set.

 Branch out

I just changed the orientation on this one and added photo corners.

thoughts and prayers

This is a very simple card to make, but it looks nicer in person because the background is textured with the new texture plates from Stampin’ Up!.

The Top Note Die makes the perfect frame for a simple, elegant card.

This card uses Baha Breeze and Chocolate Chip.

flight of the butterfly

Here is a pretty color combo. Tempting Turquoise, Lovely Lilac, and Green Galore.

The big butterly from Flight of the Butterfly is popped up, as well as one of the small ones.

The grass is from the Inspired by Nature set.

Happy Stampin!

Love You Much Card and New Catalog Teasers!

Love You Much

Love You Much Card

This is a card I made with the Love You Much Bundle. I love the heart punch and this paper!

I also used the Scalloped envelope and enhanced it with some paper piercing. It is hard to tell in the picture, but it has a vellum stamped liner and the image at the bottom is stamped on vellum, colored with marker and then layered on a punched scallop. It is finished off with Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Announces Digital Scrapbooking!

Lots of fun new things coming from Stampin’ Up! I should have my catalogs in hand in time for Stamp Camp next week. I switched the date so that they would be here by then. Stampin’ Up! is going to be offering digital scrapbooking options later this year! I have no real details yet, so stay tuned for more information, especially if you LOVE to scrapbook that way.

OK, I haven’t seen the new catalog yet, but those who went to leadership conference in Orlando got to see them yesterday and gave out a few tidbits to tease us with! Some fun new sets including a retro coffee set, lots of new animal sets (Dogs, frogs, fun bird, owl, bear). A lot of humorous sayings in sets throughout the catalog. Several new tree sets that are wonderful. A tree silhouette with accessories, but more realistic looking than season of friendship, another set along the lines of Lovely as a Tree. Some whimsical silhouette trees. That of course is just a few tidbits, there is much more to come! A lot of new sets that contain images from the new Decor Elements offering (read on for details on that)

Of course, there is much, much more! LOTS of new BIG SHOT dies! 11 pages of Big Shot stuff! Texture plates!! I am so excited. These will let you dry emboss your whole cardfront in one quick press! If I am understanding it right, you get two images per plate. Someone mentioned clear dies so you can see where you are cropping? I hope I didn’t make that up when I was dreaming about the new catalog last night! Little embosslet plates and many other new dies.

Some Fabulous new designer papers including thick textured designer paper! There are several new offerings of papers,  the samples that I saw were gorgeous and many new fun ones as well! There is a very cool new kit that is called Create a Fairytale which will be great for Disney pages or any little girl. Actually, I know a couple of big “princesses” that will be just as excited about it! New glitters in chocolate, champagne and more! Corduroy buttons and several new designer brads some with images on them. Hand embroidered flowers. Lots of new chipboard including a cute owl set! A new big heart punch and a new eyelet scallop punch! I can’t wait to see the new catalog for myself, I’ll be stalking the UPS guy!

New Decor Elements

If you would like to get an idea of what several of the new stamp sets look like, check out the images in the new Decor Elements brochure below! There are some awesome new decorating options there!
