Guess who has a new computer! Guess who has been pulling her hair out for a week, after her older computer died along with her back up storage drive? Guess who is very glad that her darling husband convinced her to buy a new computer before the old one crashed completely, therefore allowing her to save most of her precious data! Yep, that would be me. So glad to be back in the cyber universe again.
I have a card to share today! I had a lot of fun with the coffee theme.
This is a simple card but it has some neat elements that tie the “Morning Cup” theme together. The Newsprint DSP is perfect, of course. I distressed a piece of Crumb Cake card stock, added “cup rings” and spritzed it with Early Espresso ink. The linen thread was the last little touch. I like it!
I have had a lot of searches for a couple of pop up cards that I featured in a kit at StampFest a couple of years ago. I decided to add the tutorials for those cards since there was so much interest in them. I have written quite a few tutorials over the last couple of years and will be adding some of those to my tutorials page over the next couple of months. If you like tutorials, you may want to keep an eye on that page.
This is the pop up card that I made, using the Flight of the Butterfly set. You can find the tutorial here. I’ll go ahead and add the stamping supplies on this post as well. I hope this is helpful for those searching for pop up instructions.
Just one more Elementary Elegance card and then I need to play with some of my other sets! For this one I used more of the Everyday Enchantment DSP. Love that paper! The frame is cut using the Labels Collection Framelits. I needed a longer frame for this image, so I cut the top and bottom of the frame separately.
These colors make me smile, or maybe it’s the polka dots. This years group of In Colors are some of my all time favorites, such bright happy colors and they play so well together! The image and the ribbon are two of the items that you can choose FREE, with your $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.
I used the excess rubber from the center of the frame image to make a little shadow stamp. There is a little bit of polka dot pandemonium going on here, but I think it works. Happy Friday, everyone!
Even though the weather has decided to cool a bit this week, I have been thinking spring in my stamp room. This is a cheery little card using the Up Up and away set. The clouds were sponged using a stencil that I made from card stock. I pieced a scalloped circle and the Fancy Flower punch together to create the cloud shape. The hills are circles punched using the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.

This is a fun little card using the Easy Events set. I paired the love birds with the sentiment from the the tree image. I am thinking about cutting the sentiments away from the images on this set to make it even more versatile. Cheery fun!
