Daydream Medallions

This is a card we made for Stamp Camp last month. It was really very quick and easy and since it is monochromatic, it could be duplicated in any color! We just stamped a piece of white card stock using the Parlor Prints background stamp and then cut it into 3 smaller panels. The floral layers were stamped using the new Daydream Medallions set and then cut using the Big Shot and the Floral Frames Framelits.

Storybook Surprise

Storybook Friends

We made this sweet little card at Stamp Camp this month. I won’t tell you that Storybook Friends is probably my favorite set of the new catalog. You will figure it out when you have seen it for the 30th time this year. LOVE! I used lots of new goodies and tools on this card. I am loving all of the new framelits, so many possibilities!

Layered Labels

Layered Labels

Today I have another gate fold card for you. This one was cut using the Labels Collection dies to create the ornate “gates”. I used the Layered Labels set to create a belly band to keep the card closed and a sentiment is layered behind it, inside the card. The paper is from the retired Beau Chateau collection. Thank heaven for MDS, since I have that download, I will never run out of one of my favorite papers of all time! Love that collection.

Button Buddies

Button Buddies

I am still planning to do a color comparison of the new In Colors, I just haven’t had the time to photograph it yet! I hope to get to it this weekend.

Here is a bright and cheery card using the new Floral District and Summer Smooches DSP and the Button Buddies set. Quick and easy, my favorite type of card! I embossed the sentiment in White. I’m so sad to see On Your Birthday retire, I use it all of the time.

Beautiful Wings

This is a card we made for Stamp Camp last month, using the Fresh Vintage Sale-A-Bration set. Very easy! This card is monochromatic. A technique where you use only one other color with a neutral color We stamped our background piece in Night of Navy ink and then added the butterflies and sentiment. I have been stuck on these white on white cards lately, but I can’t help it, I am kind of hooked!

Flight of the Butterfly

I have had a lot of searches for a couple of pop up cards that I featured in a kit at StampFest a couple of years ago. I decided to add the tutorials for those cards since there was so much interest in them. I have written quite a few tutorials over the last couple of years and will be adding some of those to my tutorials page over the next couple of months. Up Up and Away

up up and away

Even though the weather has decided to cool a bit this week, I have been thinking spring in my stamp room. This is a cheery little card using the Up Up and away set. The clouds were sponged using a stencil that I made from card stock. I pieced a scalloped circle and the Fancy Flower punch together to create the cloud shape. The hills are circles, punched using the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.

I wanted to keep the focal point kind of simple on this card so it could share the spotlight with this gorgeous paper. I just love every design in this pack of Everyday Enchantment DSP. I plan to snatch up as much of this stuff as I can earn during Sale-a-bration! I used the Fresh Vintage set on this card and heat embossed the image on the butterfly to give it some interest.Very simple concepts but I love how they all work together so nicely.
