My Friend in Calypso Coral

My Friend

I really like this Calypso Coral. It is one of the new In Colors. It’s so bright and cheery, the perfect focal color to go with this otherwise neutral card.  I love the summery feel that it gives. To get the variegated look, I covered the stamp with River Rock ink and then used a sponge dauber to dab on a little Calypso Coral and Soft Suede. Then I stamped the image on the card stock. I had already stamped the  retired French Script stamp in River Rock ink, for a nice background.

This Stylish purse is designed to hold several cards and makes a great gift for that fashionista in your life. If you are like me though, you will have a hard time giving it away! This is one of the kits available at StampFest. The kit includes the directions for this bag and the faux leather technique used here. While this one is a little more involved, the bag itself is  great  for a quick and easy project for holding a gift of several cards or other items. You will be making one bag and 5 matching cards. There will be some options to choose from on the Designer paper. The cost of this kit is  $15.00.

Stamp A Stack for StampFest!

These are the cards we will be stamping at StampFest There will be 8 designs to choose from when I have them all loaded

Each stack is 5 cards of one design. The first stack is priced at $7.50 and each stack after that is $5.00 or you may stamp 5 stacks for $25.00. You may also choose to do a single set of designs which is one of each card design for $12.50. You must RSVP for this event, please call or email me with details on how many stacks of which design you would like to stamp.

StampFest in Two weeks!

Hello everyone! StampFest is in two short weeks and we need a few more people to fill the room! Bring a friend and you can each take $5 off the weekend rate! If you are not signing up for the full weekend you can each take $5 off of one of the kits I am offering. Let me know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend!

 

StampFest Details

We will be stamping at the Hampton Inn in Bixby (next to the Spirit Center). Doors will open at 12:00 PM  on Friday, July 22nd and we can stamp till 11:00 AM on Sunday.

 

Fees for this weekend will be a table charge plus any Camp projects you decide to do for the weekend. You can just bring your own projects and work on those if you like. Table fees  will be $25 for the whole weekend, $15 for all day sessions, or $10 for evening and morning sessions. Evening and morning sessions begin and end at 5:00 PM. If you arrive or leave after 5:00 PM it is considered an all day session.

 

Table fees cover the following…..
Your own spot where you can set up and stamp or scrap all weekend with access to tools, projects ideas and challenges you may not have at home.You may come and go and stay as late as you like, leave your stuff, your spot will be reserved.

 

Each participant may request 5 sets from my Stamp library to use that weekend.
Use of the following equipment…..
Enjoy a color station that includes Classic dye and pigment inks in 48+ colors, Markers, Watercolor crayons and pencils and chalks, and other specialty inks
A cutting station that includes a Carl  Rotary Cutter, Big Shot machine and all my dies and embossing tools and a Cricut electronic cutting machine and cartridges, Punches in various shapes and sizes (over 50 of them)
Stamping Tools like the cropadile, crimper, heat gun, layering tools and more!

 

There will be several project kits available for you to pre-purchase to stamp that weekend if you choose. They will include a Stamp a Stack option, Stamp camp kits and Scrapbook kits (2 page spreads and small book projects) Each kit will have complete directions as well as precut pieces and embellishments to complete each project. The stamps, inks and tools to complete these projects will be available for you that weekend. I will also be doing a supply pre-order for those who need things to work with that weekend. You will need to bring your own projects, paper, adhesives, etc., except for items included in the kit pre-orders. I will be posting project kits to my blog over the next few days.

Good Morning! I am crazy, mad working on projects for Stamp Camp, StampFest and Stampin’ Up! Convention! This morning I am putting together little giftees for everyone who attends Stamp Camp tomorrow. If you book a workshop, you’ll get another gift (I am working on those too!) Hope to see you there!

Wow, I have wasted a lot of time and made a huge mess of my sidebar trying to fix what I thought was a wordpress issue only to figure out that it was an issue with the graphics I was trying to load. New Hostess Program!

 

 

It’s a brand new catalog year and that means all kinds of excitement and updating happening at Stampin’ Up! and right here, on my site! While I am waiting on my new catalog graphics, I thought I would make a quick post about one of the most exciting changes coming this year! Changes to the Hostess Program!!!! Exciting changes that I think every hostess will love.

 

As you can see on the chart, the Hostess set program has changed to give you much more flexibility in your choices of FREE product! Now you will earn a hostess cash amount when you reach certain levels in your workshops.  There will still be exclusive sets for hostesses only, but you have the option to choose them or spend your cash elsewhere in the catalog! These sets have been given a dollar value that is deeply discounted, and you have the option to choose those exclusive sets or spend your hostess dollars on any other product you may prefer.  I love the flexibility that gives us!

 

Of course there is more! We also have a new hostess feature. Half price products! When your workshop totals reach $400 in sales, you can choose any product in the  catalog for half price. As your totals increase, so do the number of half price sets you can earn. Can you imagine getting the Big Shot machine or the Markers set for half price? Well now you don’t have to just imagine it, you really can!

 

The new program also does away with hostess levels needed to earn hostess sets. So if you love a set that would have previously only been available to hostesses with $500 in sales, that set is available for you to purchase with your hostess dollars at any sales level!!  I can’t wait to place my first order today, and take advantage of this fabulous new program!!

 

I have to sweeten the pot just a little bit more, by announcing a new referral program that will be offering for even more opportunities to earn FREE product. Those details will be revealed at Stamp Camp next week!
