Greeting Card Kids Valentine

Greeting Card Kids

I had to use my sweet little Greeting Card Cutie again for this valentines card. How neat is this embossed border? I love it. This is the new Framed Tulips Textured Impressions folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Super Easy card. Of course when you have the right tools, the design process is quick and painless!

Just My Type

Puns From the Past

It’s a Snow Day! My gang is all here and no one has to be anywhere today, so it will be a fun day. I am about to sneak off to my stamp room, but I thought I would share another card with you first.

I have a clean and simple card with a masculine touch for you today. This card uses the Puns From the Past set and the retired By Definition sets. As I said, simple!

Stampin’ Stuff

Stamps: Puns from the Past, Tiny Tags, By Definition (retired)
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Classic Inks
Paper: Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock
Fun Stuff: Big Shot and Circle die, Jewelry Tag punch, Linen Thread, Button, Pop Dots

If at first glance this picture looks like I was trying to set up a neat background or an embellishment montage, guess again. This is a lovely creation that my 2 year old grand baby made for me.

The tiny little micro beads are a nice touch.

She just loves all of my stamping things and has figured out that if she sneaks in my office and closes the door behind her, she can get a lot more accomplished. She has left me several nice works of art.
I came home from Stamp Camp the other night and she told me that “Papa fix it”. There was a nice little lock installed on my stamp room door. Now she can only create when Nana is in there.

Petal Cone Die

I made this little project for stamp camp this month with our new Petal Cone Die! I can see so many uses for this die. I can’t wait to try a few of the outside the box ideas that I have seen done with it. You can use it as it is shown here or fold the petal flaps in to close the top.

The Petal Cone Die is as easy to use as it is versatile. I just cut two cone pieces from the new Springtime Vintage designer series paper, added sticky strip to the flaps and fastened them together. I folded the flaps out and added a punched strip for the handle, which I attached to the cone with brads. To embellish, I made the medallion from two scalloped circles. It looks elaborate, but it was really easy!

Thanks for looking

Belinda
