Royal Blog Tour

Welcome Lords and Ladies to this stop on the Royal Blog Tour! I hope you enjoy your visit here and choose to come back often.

The set that I will be highlighting for the tour is the very versatile,  Got Treats. The first project I have prepared for you is  a card using the gingerbread man and our yummy Jolly Holiday Designer Series paper. I stamped the little gingerbread men, cut them out and popped them up on some brushed silver card stock cut to look like a cookie sheet.

ETA: I have gotten many wonderful comments on my Cookie Sheet Card! Thank you all so much. I first copied this idea years ago from a 3 dimensional scrapbook sticker I saw. I have also seen many other versions of this idea stamped throughout the years, so I wanted to clarify that it isn’t a new concept and I don’t want to leave the impression that it is an original concept! Really it has been out there for a while! Thanks everyone.

I am making a tag set for my best friend (she never has tags on her gifts. Silly girl!) And my plans include magnet board/message centers for some other relatives.

The gingerbread on the cookie sheet – sheer genius!

    • Thanks everyone, I knew when I saw this little gingerbread guy that I had to make this card with that sentiment. I wish I could claim the cookie sheet idea, but I saw something similar many, many years ago in a scrapbook magazine. I do think our brushed silver paper makes the perfect cookie sheet!

  36. Deb B (Debadoo) says:

Love all your projects, especially the cute lil cookies on the cookie sheet. As you’ve mentioned I’ve seen that before, but it’s still so adorable and a great reminder. I really want to make something for all the folks at my church this year (very small church), just not sure what. Many are diabetic, so candy is out, some can’t handle fragrances, so candles are out. Maybe something really cute with calendars.
