  1. Super cute sketch! I don’t know if I will get to sneak away and play, but we’ll see. I am celebrating by coming up with my Christmas card design and getting started. (and going to a birthday party, running errands, etc – ha ha!)

  2. In honor of World Cardmaking Day I made my sister a birthday card to send to her mother-in-law, and I invited a friend to come look through my Christmas stamps so she can decide what to do for her cards this year.

Hi Belinda! I love the ruffled ribbon and lace layering on your first card and your watercoloring on the second card is very nice!

I helped my daughter make a thank you card this morning for a boy in her kindergarten class who gave her the “girl” toys that came in his lunch yesterday (awwwwwwwwwww). All I’ve done so far is organizing (so much to do and so little time). If I manage to make a “grown-up” card, I will send you a picture.

Thanks for a chance to win!

  4. I love your first card with the layers of ruffled ribbon and the pearls and ink used from the distressing kit – gorgeous.

  5. I spent the day cleaning up/packing up my craft room. My in-laws are visiting next weekend and I can’t let them know just what a true disaster my craft room really is! Also, I’m headed to KC for the CKC convention with my best friend, so I’ve been packing up cardstock, stamps and ribbon to get started on our Christmas cards!

  6. Thanks for the lovely comments on my card and for playing along on World Card Making Day! I combined all of the entries from here, facebook, the hive and emails and entered everyone in the drawing. Christine Hirrill was the lucky winner and she has already received her set. Congratulations Christine!

Thanks, Belinda! I would not have made that card I sent you if not for your challenge!
