Fun For Spring!

A Good Egg Basket

 Stamp Camp Projects

Here are more fun projects that we made for Stamp Camp this month.

This is a cute little basket using the Scallop Envelope Sizzix Die. We added a handle made with braided grosgrain ribbon which gave it a little sturdiness.

The basket is embellished using A Good Egg and designer paper from the hostess pad.

Basket Handle

A side view of the basket so that you can see the  braid detail and that we attached the handle with the Jumbo brads.

I made my own basket filler using designer paper scraps, a paper shredder and my crimper tool.

Cheep Talk

This was a super easy card.  I love the new eyelet scallop punch, and for some reason I am on a Tangerine Tango kick right now! I thought about adding something else, but resisted and I am glad I did. I like the simplicity.

The set is Cheep talk.

Tangerine Tango ribbon

Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point and Whisper White inks and paper.

Trendy Trees

I know it is odd to have a Blue tree, but somehow it just worked with the Designer Series paper from the Sale-A-Bration selection. The ribbon is also from the Sale-A-Bration Ribbon bundle.

So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White inks and card stock.

Happy Stampin!

Oldie but Goodie!

Carrot boxes

I love these Carrot Boxes!

These are quick and fun little Easter boxes that we made  at stamp camp this month.  They have been around for awhile, but I bring them back often. They’re just so stinkin’ cute!

Print the Carrot Box Pattern onto your card stock

Cut on solid lines

Score on dotted lines.

Stamp using Whisper White Craft Ink.

I used flowers from Cheep Talk and Playful Petals sets, but any spring type image would be cute. You could also stamp tone on tone instead of white or even use bleach. I would place edibles in a cello or plastic bag if using bleach.

Stamp on the print free side of the card stock, the score lines will be on the inside of your box.

Add glue to the slim flap. The glue will go on the outside or stamped side and then fold into the box.

The Tombow Multi glue grabs quickly and makes a very sturdy bond. You could also use sticky strip tape.

Punch holes through both flaps using the 1/8th hole punch and then add strands of curling ribbon to each hole and curl. I used three strands through each hole, each strand about 12 inches long.

Thanks for stopping by!
